The most popular billiards game in North America is Eight-Ball, which is played with 15 balls: seven solid-colored balls, seven striped balls, and the black 8-ball. The object of the game is to pocket all of your balls and then sink the 8-ball.

Other popular variations include Nine-Ball, Straight Pool, and Snooker. Each game has its own unique set of rules and challenges.
