We are currently seeking a General Manager with a minimum of 5 years of management experience. The General Manager is the business Team Leader and is responsible for executing leadership, mentorship, ensuring operational excellence, optimizing staff performance, guest satisfaction and maximizing sales.

As the General Manager you will be responsible for the effective operation of the Entertainment Facility, ensuring company objectives, policies and procedures are implemented and administered. As the general manager you must be customer focused, highly motivated, goal oriented, and demonstrate effective leadership skills to be able to lead a team of 30-40 team members. Able to work a flexible schedule that meets the demands as well as the needs of the business and includes evenings, weekends and holidays

Key Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Leading, Managing, Directing and Developing the Team
  • Managing the Guest Experience
  • Demonstrate excellent business skills in cost control, labour management, financial accounting and inventory levels.
  • Responsible for Hiring, Coaching, Training, Performance Evaluations, Discipline and Terminations.
  • Ability to coordinate and organize meetings, and other community initiatives and events.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • Prioritize and Time Manage multiple activities, departments, and staff development, while continuing to meet financial targets and reporting responsibilities.
  • Work with a Strong Sense of Urgency and able to work under pressure
  • Ability to provide a Hands on Approach at all times to support the Team
  • strong leadership, communication, organization and management skills
  • strong financial acumen, reporting, creating and analyzing of reports.
  • Proficient in English verbal and written communication
  • Excellent problem solving, Decision Making and troubleshooting skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS office ( Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point).
  • Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time, ability to lift, carry, push and pull heavy objects during a shift (up to 50+ lbs)

Experience/Requirements:

Minimum of 4 years experience as a manager with proven experience in staff management and effective execution of daily operations while driving and maximizing sales/profits through Guest service, Daily Operations and cost control.

Experience in an entertainment, restaurant or fast food environment is preferred.

A University and/or College Degree is preferred

G Class Driver’s Licence is preferred.

First Aid Training Certificate is an asset

Food Safe Training is an asset.

Must supply a police vulnerable sector check if hired.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
